Hi, my name is Paula Everett and I'm creating this GoFundMe for my parents, Rick and Margaret Bozeman. My mom was diagnosed with leukemia on March 7, 2025, after being in the hospital for 13 days without knowing why she was in so much pain. On March 8th, Momma was medic-transported to M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.

My parents have income from Social Security and Momma's part-time job. Now, any income that they have goes to medical expenses for Momma and living expenses for Daddy while they are in Texas for her chemo and other treatments.

In healthy people, the blood contains between 150,000 and 450,000 red blood cell platelets per microliter of blood. Momma had ten (10), like ten fingers ten. Then, she had five (5), then four (4), then three (3). After receiving several blood transfusions, her count increased to twenty-one (21), before dropping back to ten (10). Momma will require at minimum three (3) weeks of chemotherapy before the doctors reevaluate her condition to determine if additional treatments will be necessary. During this time, they have extremely limited funds and would appreciate any and all assistance and prayers.
