Stand up for Rick and Jeremy

You may have already heard or read the news regarding Jeremy. A normal morning getting ready to start work and gearing up for the busy holiday season was derailed by a sudden threat from ICE. ICE said they would get him. That day, the next day, or the next, but they would get him. It was a terrifying prospect.

Rick and Jeremy had to make some very quick decisions. After getting a lot of advice and support from a wide range of people, Jeremy left the USA for his native France to avoid the possibility of being sent to a detention center.

On the spur of the moment, he had to leave behind his husband, his dogs, - his whole life.

And now Rick is here, trying to do alone what they had planned to do together.

Rick’s primary goal now is to be with his husband. In order to do that, he needs to manage all the issues of emigrating - All while their plan had been to prepare for the busy season at their business. They desperately need money, not only to make up for the loss of revenue of missing out on the major profit season, but to deal with all the sudden expenses of preparing to move.
