Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out on behalf of my mom, who has been by Ric’s side in the hospital day and night as he recovers from a serious health battle. Rick recently underwent hip surgery, and while we were hopeful for a smooth recovery, things have taken a difficult turn. He has been asleep for nearly seven days straight, showing only small moments of coherence on the seventh day. Doctors have told us that his recovery will come in waves, but right now, things are uncertain.

To make things even harder, my mom just tested positive for COVID, meaning she can’t even visit him for the next few days. She has had to take time off work to be there for him, and once he is released, she will need to care for him as he regains his strength and mobility. This has put a significant financial strain on her, and with bills piling up, I’m hoping to rally some support to help ease this burden.
