Help Richmond, enrich summer by giving Kids a Magical Summer

Enriched by Richmond, is focused on supporting high-quality student-centered experiences beyond the bell (Expanded Learning, Afterschool Programs, and Summer Camp Programs), while investing in the support of staff's professional growth in the field (providing professional development and training), and ensuring the connections of partnerships, families, and committees (as an advocate for ensuring the best experiences for students) are strong for collaborative enriching impacts for all students in afterschool and summer camp programs!

Founder of Enriched by Richmond, Richmond Brown has completed 2 years of strategy and consulting in the Expanded Learning field and in this work has noticed that some students were not able to attend summer camps due to high-cost and affordability during these continued times of uncertainty, post Pandemic. In that, it was placed on Richmond's heart to start fundraising for this cause, to support our students to get an opportunity to "Tapping into their untapped experiences".

As an Expanded Learning leader, who has dedicated over a decade to High-Quality Programming (Afterschool and Summer), I would like to support and give back, by doing what I can to support students and children who want to attend summer camp, and not have to worry about the barriers or roadblocks to experiencing an amazing summer! Rather it is a community summer camp or a sleep away summer camp. I would like to make that happen for them!

So, in preparation for the upcoming Summer 2025, I'm calling on my network and community (You, reading this!) to help raise and meet our goal of $20,000 dollars to send kids to Summer Camp. The $20,000 will sponsor up to 10 students, up to 7- 8 weeks of summer camp, at the summer camp cost maximum being $250 dollars per week. I will work with Summer Camp Program, to partner with them to ensure students get a spot in program and also will be experiencing a magical summer!
