Dear Friends and Family,
I’m raising money to help my cousin Richard. He is like my brother. Many of you know him as Richie – a wonderfully gifted musician and devoted music teacher who has suddenly found himself in a battle for his life due to advanced-stage cancer.
The doctors said that the tumor is too large to safely remove so Richie is undergoing chemo treatments to shrink it. If that works, then they can operate.
His entire life, Richie has supported his family and made a living through gigs and offering music lessons.
Right now, Richie needs help to pay for rent, living costs, and related medical expenses.
Several years ago, my family and I had the privilege of watching my cousin perform at the legendary Manhattan venue, The Carlyle, where he was the lead percussionist for singer/songwriter Clint Holmes.

Last December, Richie played with the group Vulfpeck to a sold-out audience at Madison Square Garden! Check out his solo:

Richie is in a dire situation. Faced with chemotherapy treatments, he has been drained of his physical strength and stamina which makes it impossible for him to play drums and work.
That’s the reality and I can’t sugar-coat it.
