Help Richard Apostle Rebuild His Life After Devastating Fire
Donation protected
On the morning of July 27, tragedy struck in Nyack, NY, when a devastating house fire completely destroyed a home and sent several people to the hospital. While others were treated and released as a precaution, Richie has remained hospitalized. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/first-responders-neighbors-help-rescue-3-from-nyack-home-engulfed-in-flames/ar-AA1JonB7?ocid=BingNewsSerp
Richie was the unconscious man pulled from the flames by brave neighbors and first responders. Thanks to their quick thinking and heroic actions, his life was saved but the road ahead is long and uncertain.
Richie sustained serious lung and chest injuries from the smoke and heat and has been sedated and hospitalized since the fire. He also faces surgery for third-degree burns and a long period of recovery. Beyond the medical crisis, Richie lost everything he owned in the fire.
Clothing, personal items, furniture, cherished photos, and important documents all gone in an instant.
This loss is especially heartbreaking because Richie has spent years giving back to the very community, he now needs help from. As a former firefighter for the Village of Nyack, he dedicated his time to protecting others. Now, it's time to return that support.
Funds raised will go directly toward:
Immediate medical needs and care during recovery
Clothing, basic necessities, and temporary housing
Rebuilding his life once he’s discharged from the hospital
Long-term rehabilitation and follow-up care
Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference. And for those unable to give, simply sharing this fundraiser can help spread the word and rally the community.
Thank you for reading and for standing by Richie during this incredibly difficult time. His survival is a blessing, and with your support, there’s hope for healing and a second chance to rebuild.
