Help Richie and Family in this Time of Need

On behalf of the friends and family of Richard, also known as "Richie", I am starting a Go Fund Me to help raise funds in this urgent time of need.

In February 2024, Richie was diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver, with his life taking a turn in just a few months. He's been in and out of the hospital, and recently has been there permanently since July. He's had 21 blood transfusions, has an enlarged heart, retaining water and from that, water has went into his lungs which caused pneumonia. He has to do dialysis as well. He has both kidney and liver failure and will need a transplant for both body organs.

Richie was just transferred from O'Conner hospital to UCSF Hospital where he is already receiving the quality care he needs. Rosemary has been by his side day and night and still waking up and going to work exhausted as she is. She will eventually need to quit her job to care for Richie full time.

It has been a very scary, emotional roller coaster for Richie, his wife Rosemary, his daughter Leilani, his parents and all of his family and close friends who love him dearly. Everyone who knows Richie knows how loving, caring, and giving he is. A big ol Teddy Bear.
