Richelle and her family have faced an extraordinary series of challenges over the past several years. In 2010, Richelle was diagnosed with breast cancer, beginning a long and difficult journey through treatment and remission. Despite her strength and resilience, her cancer has metastasized to her bone marrow, and most recently, she has had to undergo radiation treatment for a new growth on her trachea. Throughout these health battles, Richelle’s husband, Roy II, has been by her side, supporting her and their two sons, Roy III and Mason, as they navigate each new obstacle together.

The family’s struggles have not been limited to health. After Roy suffered a work injury that prevented him from continuing in his primary career, they faced the daunting task of finding jobs and affordable housing for themselves and their pets. Just as things were beginning to look up, with both Richelle and Roy securing work, they lost their only vehicle due to engine failure in July 2025. Since then, they have relied on electric scooters to get to work and to medical appointments for Richelle and their children, even in cold and rainy weather. These medical appointments have been constant lately, with Richelle needing frequent radiation treatments. This has placed an incredible amount of stress and hardship on their lives, affecting both their mental and financial stability.

My brother Trevor and I are launching this fundraiser for our sister, Richelle, and reaching out to our community to help her and her family purchase a reliable vehicle. This support would make a world of difference, helping them regain stability and hope for the future.
