Help Richard's Stroke Recovery Journey

Hello family and friends,

After months, days and hours of prayer, we believe it is time we ask for help. This is not easy for us to ask for help; we don’t know what else to do.

Richard lost his job on 10/2/24 and then had a stroke on 10/14/24. He is out of the hospital and rehab and is recovering at home.

Today he was denied unemployment benefits and we have no insurance for doctor visits and his medications. We have applied for disability; however, we were told it is a 4-6 month wait for a determination. I am continuing to work as a nurse, but we are having a difficult time without Richard's income. He needs additional therapy, medications, follow-up care, and helping stretch my paycheck to cover living expenses . We appreciate any assistance we can get and always need continued prayers.
