In April of this year, Richie, beloved father, husband and friend suffered a major stroke. In early November he experienced a second, mini-stroke. Since then, he has been struggling with horrible pain, confusion and what seems like seizures, and other ongoing serious neurological symptoms. He has been in and out of the hospital as doctors try to understand what is happening.

He has been in severe distress.

Richard is now being transferred to a bigger hospital for further testing and specialized care. We are hoping this will finally bring answers, and a diagnosis.

This has been devastating for the family. Daphne and the kids are heartbroken watching dad go through this. Daphne has not been able to work at all the last week and won’t be able to these coming weeks because Richard needs full-time care and support. They run their own small business, which has been already struggling as a result of his medical crisis and Daphne’s need to step away to care for Richard even before this new development.

We are asking for help to support Richard’s medical expenses, transportation and lodging for out of town hotel stays for the family, household bills, and basic needs while Daphne focuses on caring for her husband and their children during this incredibly difficult time.
