Hi my name is Kim Holmes and I am organizing this for my husband's cousin, Richard Turner. Richard aka Richie to us got unexpectedly ill and was placed in ICU on September 3. They found that his heart was in afib and very weak and his organs were starting to fail. Thankfully the doctors and nurses at Roper were able to save him. They are still unsure of the cause and he is still very weak but after 6 days in ICU and a few more in the hospital he is finally home. Anyone that knows Richard knows he is a simple guy, does not require much to live and never ask from others what he can provide for himself. Even in ICU he told the nurses he needed to be back to work by Tuesday while still not out of the woods yet. However at this time he could use some help with daily and medical bills. We thank anyone that is able to donate to help ease the financial stress. Please pray that Richard continues to heal and that this illness has not permanently changed his health.
