If you’ve spent much time in the garment decorating industry, there’s a good chance you know Richard Tilley. Many of us know him simply as @King_Tilley

Richard has been a friend, colleague, mentor, and familiar face to so many people in our industry over the years. Now, he and his family need this community to rally around them.

On Sunday, Richard and his three daughters were driving home from a weekend in Sarasota when they were hit head-on at high speed on I-75.
Richard took the worst of it.

He broke almost every bone in his face, broke his arm, suffered deep cuts to his face and head, and sustained a traumatic brain injury with bleeding on his brain. He was airlifted to the trauma unit at Sarasota Memorial, where he remains on a ventilator and under sedation.

But King Tilley is fighting. His brain activity looks good, his vitals are strong, and he has responded to his family with a thumbs-up and a hand squeeze.

His three girls were also hurt. Layla suffered a broken sternum, broken thumb and bruised lung—and somehow had the strength to pull her sisters from the wreck before help arrived. Thankfully, Ava and Penelope's injuries were less severe.

Richard doesn't have medical insurance. Jennilea is staying by his side while traveling between South Florida and Sarasota, caring for their girls and trying to hold everything together.

We are starting this GoFundMe with Jennilea to help take some of that weight off their family.

We’re asking the garment decorating community—many of whom have worked alongside Richard, learned from him, laughed with him, and called him a friend—to rally around King Tilley now.

If you can give, please give. If you can share, please share. And please keep Richard and his family in your prayers.
