Help Richard Get Life-Changing Jaw Surgery

Meet Richard:

Richard Warner is a hardworking, family-loving 28-year-old with a heart of gold. Originally from a small wine town in California, he and his family relocated after devastating wildfires. He now works as the liquor manager at Safeway, and when he’s not working, he loves hunting, soccer, and gardening. But more than anything, Richard’s passion is his family—he does everything he can to support his wife, take care of the kids, and be a strong provider.

What many people don’t know is that behind his warm smile is a struggle that has deeply affected his life. Due to a combination of genetic factors and past circumstances, Richard has lost almost all of his teeth. It has impacted his ability to eat, speak, and even smile confidently. Now, he urgently needs a 4-in-1 implant surgery to restore his upper jaw—a procedure that will not only give him back his ability to eat and smile but will also prevent long-term damage that could drastically shorten his life.

Why This Surgery Is Critical:

Richard’s dental issues stem from genetics—his family has naturally high acidity levels that erode teeth over time. However, being in an unhealthy environment for years meant he wasn’t encouraged to care for himself, which accelerated the damage. Eventually, he had to have surgery to remove nearly all of his teeth, leaving him with only eight.

Unfortunately, the dentures he was given were poorly made too early in the healing process, leaving them ill-fitting and nearly useless. When he returned to get them fixed, he was told he’d have to pay out of pocket for a new set—something he simply couldn’t afford.

Without this surgery, Richard’s jawbone will continue to deteriorate, leading to severe health consequences and a much shorter lifespan. If we act now, we can prevent this and give him a chance to live a normal, pain-free life.

The Cost & The Goal

The total cost for the surgery is $20,000, which must be paid in full before the procedure can be scheduled. Insurance covers only $4,000, and while Richard and his family have worked hard to save $4,500, they still need help covering the rest.

We are exploring other financial assistance options, but any donation—big or small—will bring us closer to this life-changing surgery. If everyone pitches in, we can make this happen for Richard.
