We are fundraising on behalf of our son / nephew / cousin, Richard Seymour.

Rich went to the emergency room to get checked out for back pain in early 2023. During that visit, the doctor performed many tests to figure out the cause of the back pain, and found that he has Testicular Cancer. The treatment that was recommended was to have a testicle removed to stop the spread of the cancer. During pre-op for this surgery, the doctors also found and diagnosed him with a heart condition, Cardiomyopathy, which was caused by his having COVID in 2022. After this procedure was done, they found that the cancer had already spread to his lymph nodes. Currently, he is undergoing extensive Chemotherapy at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center in Bennington, VT.

With these health issues, and with the ongoing treatment, Rich is not able to work. While he is on disability from work, his health insurance only covers a small percentage of the medical bills that are needed to cover his treatment.

At only 40 years old, Rich has been a very active and independent person that does not rely on others for help. However, at this juncture, he needs to be able to support himself and his son, Nolan, without a heavy medical debt hanging over his head.

Rich is the nicest guy in the world and would do anything for the people he loves and has always been there for those who need him. We want to be able to do the same for him.
