Hi! Our parents Richard and Rita Pinkham are experiencing some challenging times that have brought up unexpected expenses. My dad has always been the one to work two or three jobs to make ends met when I was growing up. Even now this man works 14-18 hour days, getting up as early as 1am. I am humbly coming before you to ask for any donation that can be given. All donations will be going to help the financial burden of my dad being in the ICU, along with every day expenses in life while out of work. Even with insurance the financial expenses are going to be crippling. My parents will never ask for help, so that’s why I am asking for them. It’s the least I can do to help. The independent nonprofit FAIR Health tracks hospital costs due to COVID-19 nationwide. In Florida, the organization’s data analysis found the median cost for a hospital stay without insurance is about $49,168 and $234,732 with an ICU or ventilator. If you have insurance and you pay part of the bill, FAIR Health found the median cost was around $23,787 for a hospital stay and goes up to $115,497 for ICU or being on a ventilator.
