I have always tried to manage on my own, but this year has brought challenges I never expected. Since early September 2025, I have been on medical leave from work without pay, after being diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder. On top of that, I am now facing heart-related complications that require further testing, including a Cardiac PET scan. Unfortunately, my health benefits were canceled as of December 1st due to my extended leave, and my wife’s income is now our only source of support.

The financial strain has been overwhelming. The funds raised here will go directly towards bills and cost of living , follow up visits, and medications prescribed by different specialists. If enough is raised, I hope to put it toward the out-of-pocket cost of a cardiac PET scan in Houston, TX, since it is not available in Austin. The scan alone costs about ten thousand dollars, and it’s essential for my ongoing care and recovery.
