Hi, I'm Susan, the mother of Richard Embree. Richard was seriously injured on Father's Day by an intentional act of violence. Unfortunately, Richard is the unnamed motorcycle rider who was intentionally hit by the guy who carjacked a vehicle in Spokane Valley, killed a person at Stateline, ID, and thereafter was killed by Spokane County Sheriff's.

As Richard's family, we are so grateful he is alive; however, he is in the hospital with multiple injuries. His recovery will be long and difficult, keeping him off his job as an RV mechanic. Richard does have insurance, but there will be uncovered expenses as well as his daily living costs.

Because the incident occurred on his personal time, there are few options for financial assistance. I am asking on behalf of our family for any assistance people can provide to take some of the financial stress off Richard so he can focus on his recovery, which could take upward of a year.
