Friday night (11/19) Richard A. McCune III was taken to Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital after being ill for some time. It was discovered that he had what appeared to be a bowel obstruction that required immediate surgery. During the surgery it was discovered that Richard's appendix had ruptured and that he was extremely septic as a result. The decision was made to Life Flight him to Vanderbilt University Hospitals SICU (surgical intensive care unit). This is where he currently being treated for sepsis and undergoing a number of surgical procedures to check for further issues and to clean out the infections in his body cavity. As of this posting Richard is sedated, with an open abdominal cavity and is still in Critical condition with a number of further procedures scheduled. There is no ETA yet for when he might be released, the next few days are very critical.

Richard was married early this year (May the 4th) to his wife Charlee. He is a Nashville area musician who has worked with a number of bands like Falcon One as well as many other musicians and his own music project RAM III. He grew up in Meadville, PA and attended West Virginia Wesleyan University before finding his way to Murfreesboro, TN to Middle Tennessee State University. He currently lives with his wife Charlee and dog Boris in Lebanon, TN.
