Help Richard Lockwood Save His Life
Donation protected
As you may or may not know, our dear Richard Lockwood is very ill. He has been sick since May 2016. It started with pain in his right hip, nausea and loss of appetite. Throughout this time his weight has fallen by nearly 40 pounds. Various strange symptoms continued, steadily worsening, and recently he got a diagnosis of prostate cancer that has spread into bone cancer.
Besides the effects of the cancer, he is suffering with extreme nerve pain and physical weakness that is very debilitating and has forced him to quit his job five weeks ago. Additionally, he has not been able to eat properly due to several symptoms so his energy is extra low.
In the last few weeks he has deteriorated to the point we need to explore home health care to get him stabilized so he can be strong enough to get the healing procedures he needs.
We all know Richard—he is a fighter and determined to heal this condition through a combination of conventional and (mostly) alternative means. As his partner, Kathy has been by his side and helping as much as she can through this whole thing. She has been his rock and love, supporting in her own loving and caring manner.
There is no other family except us: his friends and spiritual brothers and sisters.
We are asking for financial support in several areas:
Basic living needs: rent, utilities, food, household
Medical needs: hospice care, specialists co-pays, prescriptions, wound dressings, IV nutritional and symptomological, ozone treatments, dietician for nutritional needs, restorative physical therapy, etc.
Alternative treatments: Infrared sauna, enemas and colonics, removal of amalgam fillings, homeopathic and herbal medicine, lymph massage and drainage, and more.
We will have more details as time goes on. This is just a quickie list to get things started, as the need is immediate.
Richard has lived in Phoenix for more than 20 years. We all know him as a good friend, dedicated worker, clever artist, and spiritual seeker. He is a kind and giving person, whether teaching a class, supporting teens’ development, or pitching in with a community project. His artistic nature in lighting and landscaping design, leaded glass works, and lighting fixture design has brought beauty and function together for many. His mechanical and handy-man abilities have helped many of us, whether fixing a leak, building a fire pit, erecting temporary housing, light car repair, and more. In fact, he has worked for an electrical contractor in high-end custom houses for the last eight years, contributing to the functionality of many unique homes.
Thank you for your consideration and support to help our dear Richard through this trial. He has been there for many of us with a ready smile, a loving hug, a listening ear, expert knowledge and wisdom in various areas—a genuine friend, co-worker, and spiritual warrior.
