Help Richard Get Back on the Road

My name is Sean. I am raising money for my dad. His name is Richard Nicholls, and he is 54 and divorced. We both live together in an apartment. He works really hard as a Lyft driver and works over 12 hours almost every day; it is our main source of income.

Yesterday, something happened to his car. It turns out that the engine was literally dead and had to be replaced at the auto shop. It ended up costing $6,000. My dad had to take a loan and now has to pay around $10,000. Our goal is to get at least $6,000 by the next week. It is really urgent; that car is literally our main source of income. I'm only 18, and I graduate from high school in a couple of months. I don't get enough money from my job, and I wish I could do more to help him, and that honestly makes me feel useless. It's been rough lately, and I wish none of this happened, but we are desperate. We will appreciate any support and help.
