Hi. My name is Richard Bryant. I am raising money to help defray the cost of a recent unexpected hospital stay and heart valve surgery. In early August last year, I developed relatively quick onset shortness of breath due to an acutely ruptured chordae tendineae and a rapid deterioration of the mitral valve in my heart. This resulted in my need for urgent mitral valve repair and other procedures being done to save my life and try to preserve some quality of life. I am blessed to say after long and arduous hospital and acute inpatient rehab stays I have been delivered back into life and about to finish a cardiac rehabilitation program.  Now begins the process of trying to get life started back again. Not the least of which is how to start handling my new bills and the finances of this situation.
