Hey everyone
I'm Richard Coble, you either know me as a friend, or as the Sales Manager at Subjective Roastery and cafe.
For the last several years, I’ve poured my heart, time, and soul into community building — literally thousands of hours volunteering, helping organize events, supporting artists, local businesses, and doing whatever I can to make sure others succeed. It’s been my thing: giving back first.
Now I’m looking at an opportunity to continue building the community and helping myself succeed as well.
My friend Blake owns DNVR Coffee Co., my longest-standing wholesale account. Running two businesses got overwhelming for him, so instead of selling DNVR to a stranger, he offered me the chance to buy it through seller financing. It’s a real shot for me to own something meaningful while continuing DNVR’s mission: living wages, ethical coffee, and an employee-first environment.
The business is solid, but I still need help with the startup stretch:
* Buying coffee and perishables
* Paid advertising on campus so students know where the good stuff’s at
* Minor updates to the space
* Getting a trailer and hitch setup for the mobile coffee platform
* Surviving that tricky first month financially
Communities support each other, and this is me reaching out to mine. I’ve always believed in helping others when they need it — now I could really use some help myself.
Even a few dollars makes a difference. If you’ve ever enjoyed a cup of coffee I’ve served or believe in supporting small business dreams, I’d be grateful for your support.
Thank you for reading, sharing, and showing up for me the way I’ve always tried to show up for others.
