In the middle of the night on February 12th, my brother Richard and his partner Mariana's house caught on fire. Fortunately, a passing Uber/Lift driver pounded on the door alerting them of the danger and they and their children were able to escape to safety. The fire destroyed their car, put a hole in the roof of their house, and burned down their garage. Rebuilding may take up to three months. In the meantime, they are left without a home. We appreciate all the help we can get for them as they try to get settled until their home is repaired.
