Help Richard and Kristin get back on their feet!

Donation protected
Some of you may have read about Richard Musa and his wife Kristin Jeffcoat since they were featured in the The New York Times cover story on Friday, October 16. It was titled "8 Million Have Slipped Into Poverty Since May as Federal Aid Has Dried Up."

Kristin and Richard have 3 beautiful kids, and since the Cares Act aid ended in late July, their income has gone down 80%. Richard has been laid off as a landscaper, Kristin had to leave her job to watch their children, and now they are barely scraping by. Richard had to sell his landscaping tools to buy diapers, and Kristin had to try to sell her eggs at a fertility clinic to scrape up a few dollars. They are now without electricity since their house is off the grid and they can't afford generator fuel. They're living on cold foods like cereal.

This is just WRONG.

Yes, I know this is a story repeated countless times right now across America, but I wanted to do something for this young couple, so I'm starting this page on their behalf. I spoke to Richard's father, also named Richard, and he's sure they haven't started anything on GoFundMe. We need to strike while the iron is hot, people!

So please help them! Even $10 will go a long way. Absolutely 100% of whatever is raised here (minus the GoFundMe service charge) will go directly to Richard and Kristin. In fact, I'll make the first contribution!
