On the evening of April 22nd, my brother Richard was admitted to the hospital with severe chest pains, the following morning he underwent a emergency life saving quadruple heart bypass surgery. Unfortunately, he suffered a massive stroke after surgery. The effects of the stoke were severe and he had to spend 6 weeks in an intensive multi-therapy rehabilitation center.
With therapy and love and support of his family, especially his wife Jen and their 3 boys, he is slowly making positive progress.
Even though he is improving, relearning how to walk and communicate, it is going to be a very long road ahead for their family, emotionally, physically,and especially financially.
Jen has now become his full time caregiver along with already being their youngest son's caregiver who has severe autism. Any support you can give them is very appreciated
