Friends and I are coming together to support our coworker, Richard. He recently underwent emergency surgery that has changed his life and created a difficult road ahead for him and his family. Richard's colon was removed and he will need to remain in the hospital for an extended period of time. After discharge, he will be living with an ostomy bag while he continues his recover. To make matters even more challenging, Richard's wife is also facing her own health struggles and is awaiting back surgery in Las vegas, leaving her unable to work. As the sole provider for his family, Richard has always worked hard, juggling two jobs - transporting patients to a clinic and driving rideshare. Unfortunately, his main job provides no benefits such as paid time off, short term leave or long term disability. Leaving him without income during this critical time. We are asking for your support to help richard and his daily stay afloat while he focuses on healing.
