Help Richard and Cathy Fix Their Car

Richard and Cathy are asking for your help so that we can get our car repaired.

We are asking for your heart to help us in

In November 2024 we lost one of our primary cars, a 2015 Toyota Prius, in an accident and was considered unrepairable and the insurance paid it off with a little to spare for repairs in a secondary car we had 2009 Toyota Matrix. I had put that money to make repairs so we could have 2 cars again.

I was able to get it going with no problems at the time, but in Mid-January we started to see issues with the transmission. I believe that the shifting gears (aka Torque Converter) in the vehicle need to be replaced to get the vehicle moving again.

We are asking if you could help us with the cost of repairs so we can get it moving again. We are sharing one vehicle, and it is a problem, I am riding the bus so that Cathy has the car for her needs as much as possible.

THE SITUATION

I am currently looking for another job to put us back on track. If you have ever lost a job, you know it takes time to be made whole again. We need to have 2 cars again.
