Hi, it's Rich's wife Rachel, and we are asking for some help after Rich had a freak accident where his finger was severed off. We rushed to the ER where the hand surgeon said the finger tip could not be reattached.

Rich's first fear was that he would never be able to drum again....or do his work as a craftsman. We are very grateful that he will recover, and that the ER was close by with a hand specialist that saved the rest of the finger as best he could.

We do have insurance, however our deductible is $8000 and Rich is going to take a major hit as a self employed person.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
