Help Rich & Elisa Brown recover from devastating hurricanes

Donation protected
After 30 years of serving others in desperate need, our dear friends Rich and Elisa Brown are suddenly in need of our assistance. Hurricane Helene destroyed their house and their kids’ house in the Tampa, Florida area. Right as they were trying to clean up, Hurricane Milton hit even harder and destroyed most of their belongings. Three older-model vehicles were found completely under water (theirs, their daughter’s, and Rich’s dad’s).

The Browns serve as C&MA missionaries, giving selflessly in service to reach the youth of Latin America, including many in extreme poverty and hopeless situations. They travel between several countries much of the year, and while many countries feel like home to them, the only residence they have anywhere in the world is there in Florida. But now they have no home and no vehicles (both of which they also share with their adult children), and while insurance will hopefully cover much of the rebuilding of their home, their cars are a total loss and did not have insurance to cover flood damage. Their belongings are almost all destroyed, the deductibles for their home are significant, and it will be many months before it will be livable again.

The Browns do not complain, and even in this time are focusing on others who have suffered worse than they have. To catch a glimpse of the giving hearts Rich and Elisa have and who they are as people, please see this brief introduction to them and their ministry: Ministry video from Rich & Elisa. We're Jim & Terri Cianca, friends and former ministry partners in Ecuador with the Browns. God put them on our hearts, and we are honored to help them at this time as just a small way to give back and say thanks for all they have done and continue to do to impact the lives of so many others. The funds will be used to help buy a reliable used car, replace their dad's older-model pickup with something similar, help their daughter replace her vehicle, help cover the deductibles on the house, and replace personal property.
