Help Rich “Chainsaw” Hill

For 25 years, I’ve had the good fortune of calling Rich “Chainsaw” Hill a friend. Even though we’re not blood related, I consider him my brother.  His kindness and compassion have carried me through some of the darkest times in my life. He makes the world a better place.

The past few years have not been kind to my friend Rich. First, his mother died. Then, he was laid off from his job when the company consolidated his department to another location. Then, the pandemic hit.

 Since the world reopened, he’s had a difficult time landing a steady job. This has left him with little-to-no money to take care of basic needs.

 He’s getting the help he needs to get back on track …but he could really use our help as well.

 His covid assistance ran out last fall and he’s behind on rent.

 My goal is to raise enough money to help take care of that debt and to give a little cushion to minimize financial stress. It will allow him to focus on getting full-time employment and help him return to full independence.

 If you have the means to donate, it would mean the world to him - and to me. This could easily be any one of us who’s reading this. We’re all one bad day or event from this kind of thing.

 This isn’t a hand out. It’s a hand up.
