Help Rich Carman with Vicki's Passing

Donation protected
The morning of April 25th Vicki Peterson-Carman passed away.  It was sudden and mostly unexpected that she was sent to the hospital 2.5 weeks ago and presented with liver failure. She couldn't fight any longer and passed away peacefully at the hospital.

In times of great sorrow, it is human nature to want to help. Rich is away from most of his extended family in Utah and can only eat so many portions of food we bring him before it spoils. I am setting up this gofundme account to help him in any way that he needs. They didn't have life insurance but they did have medical insurance. All of the proceeds from this fundraiser will go to pay medical bills, deductibles, transporting Vicki's remains back to Utah, plane tickets, a memorial service planned there for her, and food and financial help for Rich and any thing he may need.

I am copying below a post from Rich on Facebook announcing her passing in his own words.

"It is with great sorrow and the heaviest of hearts that I am writing this post. My beautiful wife Vicki Peterson-Carman
passed away peacefully this morning. She was fighting liver disease brought on from all the years of medications for her R.A. and M.S.
She has been in the hospital for 2.5 weeks in ICU, trying to get better.
This came on suddenly, and she had been making improvements up until this week. I was able to spend the last few days with her, but wasn't able to be with her when she passed, because of COVID. I did have one good day with her before things took a turn for the worse. The last 2 days with her, she wasn't really Vicki anymore, except when she was fighting, and she was a fighter.
We had planned to come home in hospice, but unfortunately, she was in a hurry to get home.
If you knew Vicki you knew she would never complain about her diseases, and she continued to fight them right to the end. She was always in an extreme amount of pain, but you would never know it. She had a heart of gold and cared more about the comfort of others, than for her own. She loved being a social worker and helping those people who were hurting in some way. She was amazing at it and never stopped trying to help others. She is and will be sorely missed. I love you baby! Please get some rest now!"

Thank you for your generosity in advance. Please hug on your loved ones today. Tomorrow is promised to no one.
