Hello! We are Torque, Rice University’s Womxn’s Ultimate Frisbee club team.

After a year of hard work, including practices 3 times a week, group workouts, and of course fun team bonding outings, Torque was able to sweep our regionals tournament, including persisting through a tough regional finals game against Colorado College! Through this win, we qualified to the USAU D-III Women’s National Championships for the second year in a row(!!!), with the tournament this year held in Waukegan, Illinois, from May 16 to 18.

With our upcoming Nationals tournament, several new expenses have come up including rental cars, hotel rooms, flights and player bid fees so that we can all participate in the games. At Torque, we aim to make frisbee an accessible and fun experience for all, and your donations will help us continue to make this possible! We really appreciate donations of any size, and every contribution helps our team be set up for success and push ourselves to the best of our abilities at Nationals!
