Help Ricardo Heal From Cancer

My name is Lena, and I am writing on behalf of my husband, Ricardo Palomares González.

Ricardo was recently diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive cancer, Blastoid Mantle Cell Lymphoma (B-MCL). It progressed quickly and caught us completely by surprise.

We are newlyweds, and instead of beginning our new life together in celebration, we now find ourselves facing the greatest challenge of our lives.

Ricardo has always lived with courage and passion — pushing himself to the limits by backpacking across South America, walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain, and cycling 18,000 miles from Alaska to Argentina.

In truth, his whole life has been a preparation — body, mind, and spirit — for this moment.

Ricardo does not see this as a “fight.” In his heart and mind, the battle has already been won.

His task now is to surrender completely, so this illness can be purged from his body.

During this trial, we are humbled to ask for financial support — so I can fully focus on caring for him, and he can fully focus on healing.

The funds from this page will help us cover our personal expenses for the next 5 months, as well as medical costs not fully covered by insurance.

We believe with all our hearts that this journey will return Ricardo to health and vitality. But we cannot walk it alone.
