In September 2025, my brother Ricardo received the heartbreaking diagnosis of metastatic germ cell cancer, stage 3. The news has shaken our family to its core. Ricardo is only 30 years old and will be turning 31 this month. He is father of 2 beautiful girls. Our mother, a single mom of six, has been by his side every step of the way, staying overnight at the hospital and sacrificing her job to care for him. The emotional toll has been immense, and the financial strain from constant medical bills has become overwhelming.

Despite our efforts—organizing waffles and reaching out to our community—we simply can't keep up with the mounting expenses. This fundraiser is our last hope to give Ricardo the care he needs. Every dollar raised will go directly toward his medical bills, chemotherapy treatments, and the medications that are vital for his fight against cancer.
