We are reaching out to you today with a heartfelt plea for help on behalf of Ria Tarroza, a 42-year-old single mother of two wonderful children. Ria's journey over the past few years has been incredibly challenging. And now, she needs our support, generosity and prayers more than ever.

In June 2022, Ria was diagnosed with stage 3 Breast Cancer, a battle she fought courageously for nearly two years. After enduring countless treatments, she was finally in remission, but her relief was short-lived as she received another devastating diagnosis, Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Ria is currently undergoing treatment for AML, a process that has left her unable to work and provide for herself and her children.

Ria is in dire need of a bone marrow transplant, but will continue receiving chemotherapy, a painful and daunting process, until such time. This procedure is critical and incredibly costly. A compatible donor has been found, but resides in the Philippines. Given Ria’s circumstances —with no immediate family in the United States other than her young kids, and having limited financial resources, we are asking for your kindness and generosity to help her get through this.

To those who personally know Ria, we know how hard-working, dedicated and resilient she is as a mother and a woman. Her cheerfulness and positivity always leave a positive impact on people wherever she goes, but her current situation has placed an overwhelming burden on her and her children. Her medical bills continue to mount, and she is struggling to make ends meet while ensuring her children have everything they need.
