Support Rhys Lee: A Bowler's Battle Back to Life
Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,
We are reaching out on behalf of Rhys Lee, a dedicated player for Bletchley Town Bowls Club, who needs our help. Last year, Rhys suffered a severe stroke at his work Christmas party, leading to several major brain surgeries and heart surgery. His journey to recovery has been arduous, but Rhys’s determination and fighting spirit have been unwavering.
Currently residing in a care home for individuals with brain injuries, Rhys is making remarkable progress. He can now say some words and repeat others, demonstrating his unyielding will to communicate. Throughout this challenging time, Rhys has retained his brilliant sense of humor and sharp mind, traits that continue to inspire everyone around him.
We are raising funds to support Rhys in his recovery and to cover the costs of essential equipment and other necessities he will need in the future. Your generous contributions will help provide Rhys with the best possible care and resources to aid his rehabilitation.
Additionally, we are raising sponsorship for Nathan Nimmo, who is going sober for the month of October to support Rhys. Nathan’s commitment to this cause is a testament to the strong community spirit and the collective effort to help Rhys regain his independence.
Please join us in supporting Rhys on his road to recovery. Every donation, big or small, will make a significant difference in his life. Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
With gratitude,
