Help Rhudy's Café survive and take the next step

Hey there, friends, family, and neighbors..
It’s never something we enjoy having to do when we ask for your help but you’ve always encouraged us and made us feel so loved in our small little town. When we opened this business in October, 2023, we leaned on our community to help fuel the fire that got us up and running and it changed our lives forever. We can never thank you enough for your support way back then.
Unfortunately, less than 3 months later, in January 2024, due to a licensing error on the part of the state, we were not able to be open for the entire month of January 2024 and part of February 2024 at the VERY beginning of the life of our business. We ate the cost, around $5000-$6,000 that we pulled from every source that we could, and kept moving forward full steam ahead. We didn’t feel comfortable asking for more help so soon after we opened, thinking we would catch back up once we reopened.
No matter how much we sold, no matter how many times we sold out, that initial loss of a month and half of business crippled us at the very beginning of our run.
We’ve pushed it and pushed it as far as we possibly could but because of that initial barrier and the fact that we had to “rob Peter to pay Paul”, we are now at the point where taxes, fees and other emergency bills have stacked up and unless we get them paid we will have to close Rhudy’s Café and our livelihood will be uncertain.
As a business, we are doing more than ever - all of our numbers are up and we are currently on the precipice of a BIG move downtown to Town Square that will increase our business and let us turn a corner, grow, and take the next step forward in our business - but that can’t happen if we don’t get this covered.
Once we move to the new location, we plan to be open more hours each day and also on Saturdays and Sundays. We plan to expand our menu and host events for the community. One of our biggest desires is to put on all-ages live music shows at the new location and to build and foster a creative, music community in our town. Something for adults but all-ages for the youth of the town so they know how it feels to have a music scene, an adopted family, and a creative outlet.
This is our dream job and we love serving our friends, family, and neighbors so much. We simply cannot imagine letting this go and letting all of you go. We want to move forward but we need the help of our community so much right now.
We are planning to use the funds to catch up on sales tax (our most immediate need) and free up funds for our move and expansion.
If you can’t donate, that is completely understandable! We love each and every one of you so much and you enrich our lives. We only want the ability to give that back to all of you.
If you can, help Rhudy’s Café not only stay alive but take the next step forward.
