Rhonda's Run

Dear community, family, friends, fellow riders, and fellow travelers through life.

I'm reaching out with a heartfelt request on behalf of an incredible woman who has been fighting a rare, stage IV, low-grade ovarian cancer for 17 years now. She has never been in remission and has had over 100 surgeries, big and small, plus a multitude of other procedures and health issues. She always meets these with a smile and strength. It has been in her lymph nodes for 15 years and her bones for 2. As of her last scan a couple of weeks ago, it looks like her time is numbered in months, and the only place she feels good is on the seat of her motorcycle.

It looks like she barely has time for her one and only dream... to go to MD Anderson to see if there is anything else that can be done and to ride her motorcycle to places she has never seen, rolling those two things into one awesome motorcycle trip. She is too late to go solo due to her increased fatigue and lessening strength. The man she loves is taking unpaid leave from work to accompany her so she can fulfill her dream. They just need a little help to make this last journey happen. We are hoping for assistance for accommodations like gas and food along the way. Please help her journey speak louder than cancer ever could.
