Hey everyone, about two weeks ago, I ended up in the emergency room because I was in excruciating pain and didn’t know why. What started as a stiff neck quickly became so painful that I couldn’t move. After some tests, I learned I had a serious infection in my blood that had gotten into my bones. I’ve now been in the hospital for over two weeks, still in a lot of pain and discomfort. The doctors had to do an emergency procedure to drain and clean out the infection. Since the infection had also gotten into my bones, they had to remove bone and put metal in my spine.

I’m looking at being in the hospital for another 6 to 8 weeks, and I honestly don’t know how I’m going to pay my insurance or all of my bills. This situation has really put a damper on me because I can’t work, and I don’t know when I’ll be able to go back. I’m just trying to focus on healing, but the financial stress is overwhelming.

If anyone could please pitch in and help me out during this unexpected and very scary time, I would really appreciate it. Your support means so much more than you know, and I’ll keep everyone posted on my progress. Right now, I’m just in a lot of pain and don’t know what else to do except ask for a little bit of help.
