Hello, my name is Rhonda, and this is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write. I am a 70‑year‑old widow, and until recently, I was doing everything I could to remain independent. Unfortunately, I suffered an unexpected fall that changed everything. The fall broke my wrist, broke my glasses and knocked out my front teeth. In an instant, I went from managing on my own to being unable to work or care for myself the way I once could.
Because of my injuries, I am currently unable to earn an income, and the medical and dental costs are overwhelming. My only son passed away two years ago and without him, I no longer have family to lean on during emergencies like this. That has made this experience even more frightening and isolating. Right now, I am struggling to keep up with basic living expenses like rent, utilities, groceries, and medical bills. Replacing my front teeth is especially important—not just for eating and speaking, but for my confidence and dignity. Unfortunately, dental work is very expensive and largely not covered by insurance.
I am asking for help because I truly have no other means of support. This is incredibly difficult for me to ask, but I cannot do this alone. Any amount you are able to give will make a meaningful difference in my life. If you’re unable to donate, even sharing this page would mean the world to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your compassion, kindness, and support during this painful chapter of my life. Your generosity gives me hope that brighter days are ahead.
