Hi, I’m Katherine. Rhonda and I have been friends since I was twenty-twenty-seven years. She’s always been the strong one. Now she needs us to be strong for her. Rhonda Anderson, Manchester native, is back here for chemo for 6 months, then surgery, then more chemo after her stage two breast cancer diagnosis, as treatment is much better here than in Ashland ME. She wants-no, needs-to heal surrounded by her kids, grandkids, mom, grandma… and yeah, us. Michael’s back in Ashland with their dogs-they can’t travel. So she’s doing this alone, except she’s not. We need to cover rent, food, gas-whatever keeps her from worrying when she’s supposed to be healing. Even small donations count. This isn’t charity. This is showing up, the way she always has.
