In 2014, Rhonda Martin fought and beat breast cancer. Seven years after defeating cancer the first time, the cancer returned, this time in her whole body. When she was undergoing radiation on her brain, they found tumors in her eyes. After finishing radiation, doctors started another round of chemotherapy. The combination of radiation and chemo began to take its toll on the time that Rhonda has left that she wants to spend with family and friends.

Rhonda made the brave decision that the chemo and radiation were negatively affecting her quality of life and decided to terminate care.

Her husband, Dave, and her colleagues in the Illinois Department of Corrections have been there by her side every step of the way. But now, medical bills are mounting, and Rhonda and Dave are humbly asking for any help that family and friends could give.
