Hello everyone, My name is Rhiannon. I’ve been struggling to pay for things for a while. And now I’m losing my job. (I am looking for a new one).

I have two children. My daughter is 18, though we are certain she is autistic, we are working on getting a diagnosis. And my son is 16 and struggling to stay in school just like his sister did when she started high school. They both suffer from anxiety.

Anyway - we live out in the middle of nowhere and only my boyfriend can drive. (I have severe PTSD from a wreck and getting lost, and I can’t get behind the wheel of a car without having a panic attack).

But on top of the fact that we all rely on him greatly to drive us everywhere- he cannot work. He has a number of mental problems that have kept him from working for years. (We are working on building a disability case).

When It comes right down to it - there are a number of things I can’t afford right now. Food. Bills. I just got my last check from them. They’re not firing me - I work for JoAnn and they are closing all their stores, and they’re just not scheduling me. So that income is gone.

Edit: JoAnn stores officially closed as of April 31st. (2 months later and I have put in at least 30 applications and called many of them to follow up).

I’ve also been waiting for my tax return for months now - since the end of February. I finally managed to get ahold of somebody at the IRS just to be told I’ve been randomly selected to wait 120 days from May 22nd. ‍♀️ (No explanation)

On top of regular monthly bills -

I’ve got a $500 credit card bill.

I’ve got property taxes on two houses. I get $800 a month from a renter. Doesn’t cover enough for food for the month, or any extra bills. Property taxes come to $2,806.

I’ve got a $800 propane bill, and the late fees are piling up every month it becomes more and more. By the time I can pay it we’re going to need more propane.
