My oldest spawn, Rhiannon, is finally scheduled for top surgery. This is a huge milestone in their journey as a non-binary person. This surgery will allow them to live more fully and comfortably in their body, free from the daily pain and dysphoria they’ve carried for years.
We were approved for compassionate funding, which we are so grateful for, but unfortunately it doesn’t cover the full cost. We are currently short about $550 to pay the surgical fees. Plus there are extra expenses that come with recovery (supplies, comfort items, transportation, and follow-up care).
Rhiannon has worked so hard to get to this point, and we want to make sure finances don’t stand in the way of them receiving the care they deserve. Every little bit helps us close the gap and give Rhiannon the best chance at a smooth, supported recovery.
