Three weeks ago (Thursday, September 28th) Rhianna Coker was injured while cycling when the driver of a truck turned into her lane, striking her head-on and causing numerous injuries, including a lacerated hand, de-hooded fingertip, broken wrist, severely sprained ankle, with additional lacerations, contusions, and road rash all over her body. She was immediately taken to the emergency room by ambulance where she was treated for the injuries to her hands, wrists, ankle, and elsewhere. [GRAPHIC IMAGES BELOW]

Due to her myriad injuries and a need for time to recover, Rhianna is not currently able to work as a cook, barista, or do SFX makeup during the Halloween season, which is creating an incredible financial hardship for her. Without any form of financial support, Rhianna will not be able to cover her monthly bills and rent, let alone pay for food and needed medical care. While she is pursuing compensation from the person who injured her, we know this is a very slow process, and without the means to meet immediate needs, recovery will be incredibly difficult.

Additionally, her beloved Cinelli road bicycle was damaged beyond repair in the collision, and is no longer safe to ride. Once she is able to ride bikes again, she will need to find a replacement that is able to get her around as cycling is Rhianna's primary form of transportation.
