Hello!

We are Rhea Keller and Leah Russell, two dance artists working collaboratively in Seattle, Washington. This summer, we have the amazing opportunity to perform our first work created together, 'Interwoven', at the Seattle International Dance Festival (WA) and the Newport Dance Festival (RI). Although we have been fortunate to receive a small stipend from each festival, it is not enough to cover our travel and creation expenses. As individual artists, we shoulder the cost of creating our work, and dance performance is hardly a product that can be sold--but a moment that we get to share and you as a viewer get to experience.

We received such wonderful feedback and support after our first performance of 'Interwoven' at SIDF, and it is a privilege to get to share our work again in Rhode Island. If giving money is a way you are able to or like to share your support, please consider making a donation. We are so grateful for your support whether it comes financially or not.

Here is a breakdown of our goal:

$400 covers flight expenses to the Newport Dance Festival.

$530 also covers studio rental fees from our rehearsal process.

$650 covers all of that plus the cost of our costumes.

Anything extra will go towards food expenses during our travels and GoFundMe's processing fees.
