I am 30 years old and in 2022, my life changed forever after a traumatic car accident left me paralyzed from the waist down. Before my accident, I was a hard worker from the age of 16 and joined the military at 19. At 26, everything shifted, and since then, I haven’t been able to work due to my disability and the chronic issues I face every day. The transition has been incredibly difficult, both physically and emotionally, and there have been many moments where I felt lost and alone.

A year after my accident, my dogs came into my life and brought me hope when I needed it most. Rhaegar, my service dog, has been my constant companion and has helped me through some of my darkest days. He’s not just a pet—he’s my lifeline, my support, and my best friend. Recently, Rhaegar suffered an accident that left him with a broken leg. The only way to save his leg is through surgery, and without it, he will lose his leg. I am completely broke and have been trying to save up money to live closer to my 8-year-old daughter and my dogs in Texas, but life keeps throwing challenges my way. I never had the courage to ask for help for myself, but I can’t let my boy suffer and end up like me, without a normal life.

The funds raised will go directly toward Rhaegar’s surgery, his recovery, and anything we need to get through this difficult situation.
