I’m Rey and I’m reaching out for help after experiencing a devastating financial scam through social media. I was led to believe that I would receive VIP status and opportunities for vacations and trips, and I made financial decisions based on those false promises. What happened has caused serious financial hardship in my life, and because there have also been threats to my safety, I need to be careful about how much I share publicly. Still, I wanted to be honest about why I am asking for support and how deeply this has affected me.

As I try to recover, the funds from this fundraiser will help me pay back some of the loans I had to take out because of the financial damage caused by this scam. They will also help me begin re-establishing and rebuilding my savings so I can work toward stability again. This has been overwhelming, but I am doing my best to move forward one step at a time.
