Earlier this year, our little family was in a serious car accident. Ratz was injured and has been out of work since February, recovering from shoulder surgery and now dealing with two herniated discs in his neck. It's been a long, painful road, but through it all, our 10-month-old puppy has been our light - always by our side, keeping our spirits up when things were hardest.

Now, he's the one who needs us. We believe he swallowed one of his toys, and the vet says he may need an exploratory surgery to find and remove it. Without it. we could lose him.

The estimate for the procedure and hospital care is more than we can afford right now after months of lost work and medical expenses. We're doing everything we can to pull together what we can, but any help - even the smallest amount - brings us closer to saving him.
