Hi my name is Yve and I am fundraising with a hopeful heart to ask for your support.

My beautiful 10-month-old Hungarian Vizsla puppy, Rex, became suddenly unwell last Thursday. I took him to the vet for anti-sickness treatment, and although the symptoms briefly eased, he didn’t improve. By Saturday, Rex was hospitalized in Newquay, where he underwent X-rays, blood tests, and surgery. He remained in care for five nights, but his condition still needed further investigation.

He’s now been referred to a specialist hospital to undergo a CT scan and receive additional treatment. Rex’s medical costs have already reached over £8,000 and continue to rise.

Rex is the gentlest soul — playful, graceful, and endlessly affectionate. If you’ve ever met a Vizsla, you’ll know how deeply they bond with people. It’s been heartbreaking to see him so unwell, and while I’d never normally ask for help, I’m hoping those who love animals might be able to offer support.
